Getting started creating feeds using Tristana Writer

Here are the steps required to create your first RSS feed;
1. Begin in the "Channel Data" tab and "Create" menu page of Tristana Writer. Complete the following required fields: Title, Description, Link to site, Webmaster. Fill in any remaining optional fields including image and media file information.
2. Click on "Add Topic" and fill in the required fields: Title, Link, Author. Then fill in any optional fields including "Enclosure..." or "Yahoo! Media..." file information.
3. You may wish to view the "Code" tab to check source XML fields, and toggle the pulldown to view "RSS" and "Atom" formats.
4. Use the "Preview" tab to ensure all images, formating looks correct in the mini-browser window.Be sure to "Save As..." and indicate .rss or .atom for saving your file.
5. Finally, click on the "Publish" tab, input the file name next to the appropriate check box for an RSS or Atom feed (or both) and indicate if you want to "Submit Pings" after publishing to boost your feed traffic. Finally, input your FTP connection information, test the connection, and click "Publish Now!" to post your feed to the Internet.
